BMT Development Co is a new development company formed in 2020 by Brydon Orsmond & Piet Viljoen. Based in Ballito, on the North Coast of Kwazulu Natal, Brydon and Piet saw an opportunity to become part of this booming property market. The initial business plan is to build upmarket residential developments in the popular new Zululami Coastal Estate, with the possibility of scaling the business and eventually entering into the commercial property market.
Brydon, a former airline captain by trade, has been interested in property development for a very long time. He partnered with Piet Viljoen, owner of CASA Construction, who has 18 years experience in the building industry, ranging from luxury homes, apartment blocks, extensive home alterations, etc. Piet is married to Chantel Viljoen, owner of CASA Design, an awardwinning architectural company. They have completed many commissioned turnkey projects together, as well as numerous successful spec projects. They understand how to create a product that is appealing to a specific market, and bring all this knowledge and expertise on design & construction to the table. A few of their turnkey and personal spec projects have been included in this document.
Piet and Chantel are responsible for the planning & construction of all BMT projects, and actively manage building works on site. Brydon is responsible for all administrative duties, and ensures that the bookkeeping is kept up to date.
